In February 2015, Sassypol members gathered in Zaragoza, Spain, to take part in a variety of lectures on liquid crystals. Guest speakers included Eduardo Beltran from Merck UK, Rudolf Zentel from University of Mainz, as well as brief research update talks from each student and post-doctoral member of Sassypol. Attendees were also treated to a tour of the beautiful nano-science facilities at University of Zaragoza.
